Looks delicious. Will it be OK to make it the previous day for a party? How much koya will yield if I use your microwave method koya recipe?

Yes, it will be perfect if you are hosting a big party. Keep them in air tight containers and refrigerate. Just make sure rolls are at room temperature before you serve.
Microwave method will yield 1 cup of loose khoya.

Heyy thanks for the superb recipe!!!! I am going to try it this week. But i have one question i get confused. I always end up messing it up when the measurements of the contains has to be taken in cups or something. U said the khoya has to be 500gms then how come u havent specified sugar's measurement like that. I alwaya mess up the taste when measurement r like this. Specifically when i ll be making it the first time.

First of all, there is nothing to be confused when measurement is mentioned in cups. Cup is a measuring standard like tsp or tbsp and 1 cup means 240ml. Always use measuring cups not your regular tea cup/coffee mug.

Secondly, the basic difference is Khoya can be homemade or store bought. The density and texture of the khoya is important here in this recipe as it has no other binding agent. And these two characteristics are variable like texture can be smooth, chunky or crumbled. In all these three stages the amount will be different if you measure in cups. But sugar crystals are same (more or less) and the amount will also be same (more or less), so my measuring in cups won't harm at all.
